Thanks for answering my questions. I really appreciate it. I guess my save is bugged or there’s something incompatible about my machine, but thanks for showing the end screen, I figured it was going to be a simple you win message. I love old school FPSes a lot, and played them a lot in the past, which made the combat sections feel right at home for me.

Edit: upon downloading the latest version, the platforms loaded and I was able to defeat the boss after focusing fire to the head. Thanks for the fix to the tips and HUD! That fight became much easier after learning what to do.

There is an issue with the final boss that makes it impossible to beat, when I load my save to fight it, the platforms you are supposed to go on are all invisible or already destroyed. This makes it so it is impossible to kill the enemy minions without expending a lot of ammo and the boss seems to awake when there is one enemy left, which makes it difficult to focus on the boss. The fact the platforms are gone means it’s only a matter of time before the boss inevitably kills you. (I was able to get the platforms to spawn once but they never did spawn again).


The fact there is no HUD makes it difficult to gauge how much damage you’re taking during the fight as well especially when the damage is not clear sometimes. Also an instant restart feature would’ve been appreciated as it’s not convenient having to close and reload the game a lot.


Besides these issues, the game throughout was extremely fun and challenging in a fair way throughout. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and platforming, and combat throughout reminded me of Painkiller or Doom which I really enjoyed. The controls were a bit slippery but I got used to them pretty quickly.  

Also is there an end screen? I’m curious as to what it is.

Very interesting game, I like the portal mechanic and the platforming puzzles themselves, however the use of respawning fast flying birds (tons of them) that immediately go towards your spawn and knock you high into the sky before you could even attempt to make a jump and a lack of air control in mid air (plus the portal hitboxes not being generous enough make the game very frustrating (and not in a fair way), if those elements are reduced in severity (such as making the enemies non respawning in one life in smaller numbers and better air control, plus better shooting hit detection), the game would be much more enjoyable and possible to play. Still, the core idea of your game is solid.

I did actually manage to beat the game by skipping the platforming sections and it ended abruptly without a "You Win" screen, the idea of the boss fight itself is definitely solid for sure, but yeah improvements to the controls would be appreciated.

The movement is very slippery and difficult to control, which makes the final boss almost impossible to beat because it requires precise jumps but the momentum of the character (lack of air control) prevents that from happening. Please fix this issue if possible. Also there should be a kill floor at the bottom of the levels (or at least a reset key) as you won't respawn and fall infinitely and have to start all over again from the start, this is very frustrating with the parkour sections.  Still the game's idea of jumping and shooting is pretty fun and it would offer a good challenge if these aspects were fixed properly.

Please make the window of the game larger, the Next button is hidden and I cannot play as a result

Game does not run at all, I get “403” errors in the console when I try to run it in chrome. Please fix

I’m just making sure your game didn’t inadvertently cause problems with systems. 

I would like to play it but the way the game installed and ran raised alarm bells since it seemed to be similar to a virus filled gameguru game that I had seen earlier. 

Anyway, you should zip your game up into a folder with only one exe to be safe (just the folder with the exe and files you get when exporting it) like this game here: https://aeromangus.itch.io/stabs

I recently downloaded a game from this site and I received an access violation error when trying to run it. This is not like most gameguru games I’ve encountered and the file structure I’ve seen once the game is installed appears to be similar what I’ve seen with a virus infected gameguru exe (that one caused Neshta to run on my system and it caused a lot of pain.) Can someone please tell me if this is safe or not?

When I try to click on the play button, nothing happens (This is on Windows)

The game crashes with a call stack error when shooting more than 1 target in the shooting gallery, please fix this.

Every time I pick up a weapon, the game crashes, can you fix this?

The last boss doesn't work, I destroyed the batteries but the shield won't go down.

The 6th level maze is very confusing and gave me a headache, I know a maze is supposed to be confusing to navigate but the layout combined with the total darkness made extremely difficult for me to figure out where I was or where I should move next. The maze should be simplified a bit in my opinion to compensate for the darkness. Can you please offer me a hint on where I should move from the start? (I went through the first door in front of me and I saw the exit, but the key is placed somewhere else)

After a certain number of shots the bullets stop working and enemies can longer be killed as a result, also the objectives don't seem to function correctly. Please fix these issues as soon as you can.

I am unable to claim  the game when I try to, it seems the physical zine is interfering with it.

The mouse is inverted by default which isn't what most people are used to, making it very difficult to control. Please fix this issue or offer an option to invert it.

You didn't upload the game in a playable state, you only uploaded part of the source code. Please compile the game following the instructions here: https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-BuildExport-Your-Game-in-Unity-to-Windows/ (making sure to zip every file ithat is in the resulting build folder into one zip file.)

Please include the missing files and put them into a ZIP file with the exe file,  I get a message saying UnityPlayer.dll is missing. The zip file should have a folder look something like this.


Can you please compile the project into a folder and zip the files in a zip file? You only uploaded some source files which cannot be used to play the game itself.  Here are the instructions on how to do this: 

The final boss battle consists of an infinite number of enemies spawning, and making the game impossible to play. Is this a deliberate choice or is it a glitch?

The game has an interesting idea and the fact that enemies explode when killed is nice, but I dislike how the bridge to the upgrade island is guarded by guards who can push you off almost immediately, forcing a restart and causing frustration, please fix this or prevent guards from going on the bridge.
